Recently I had been studying the book of Ruth again. I have studied it a couple times before, and it is a story I have been very familiar with since I was a child; however, I felt led to study it with fresh eyes and see what the Holy Spirit wanted to teach me in this season of my life. I did exactly that, and I have been truly BLESSED. I won't share absolutely everything I learnt, as 1) this post would become way too long, and 2) some lessons are personal to me and my relationship with God, so I don't want to make it public. This post will highlight six things God has been showing me through Ruth.

Yellowface by Rebecca F. Kuang Review
Yellowface is a book I had seen floating around social media for a long time but never really thought to read it. I didn't know anything about it - I guess I just became familiar with it's front cover. Once I heard a few reviews on Tik Tok, I decided I would step out of my comfort genres and give it a go. I had never read a book like this before, so I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. This was my introduction to Rebecca's writing, and it has definitely left a sweet taste in my mouth for more.

A Week in Barcelona
I recently went on a girls trip to Barcelona. I had been before, but with my family as a baby and then again as a teenager. I don't remember much of my trip during my teen years, as it rained pretty much the whole time, so we didn't get to do much. That being said, I was very excited to go back as an adult with my two best friends. Barcelona is a beautiful city full of stunning views, buzz and culture. This blog post is going to be a little glimpse of some of the things we got up to each day of our trip, with recommendations and advice I would give if you are planning to take a trip there one day.

I'M BAAAAACK
Recently I have been feeling an overwhelming itch to blog again. There's something about writing that I just adore, and I massively missed having a platform to share whatever is on my mind. Initially I decided it was time to rebrand and relaunch Chelle Belle, but technology was not on my side. After lots of fiddling around with things, I was no closer to making it as I wanted, so here we are with a brand new page. Although it wasn't the original plan, I'm happy that Chelle Belle is still live and I now have a brand new space for this next journey.
Some of you might have been around since my Chelle Belle days (if so, thank you for sticking around!), and some of you might be brand new here (in that case, welcome!). Regardless, I'm glad that you're here and I hope you decide to stay.
This first post is pretty much going to be me addressing the elephants in the room: Where have I been and what's happening now? We'll start with the former.
